Treatment Planning System Information
DISCLAIMER: these patients are provided as a convenience to XiO users for the sole purposes of obtaining credentials for the Breast protocol. CMS makes no claims as to the accuracy of the image or structure data – neither spatial nor density information. These CT data sets are compatible with XiO 4.2.0 and later.
Below is the PBI benchmark case, which has been saved as a tar file. The tar file contains one XiO patient. The patient has been stored at the XiO patient directory level using XiO 4.2.0 and should be “untarred” in this directory (instructions below).
1. Copy the tar file to the XiO clinic in which you wish to develop the plans. The instructions assume the tar file has been copied to directory FTP_DIR on your system. (Replace FTP_DIR with the actual directory path of this file.)
2. Log on as root
3. cd to the XiO clinic in which you wish to develop the plans (e.g. cd /Focus/rtp1/1)
4. cd patient (this puts you in the patient directory)
5. cp FTP_DIR/XiO*.tar . (copies the tar file to your patient directory --replace "FTP_DIR" with actual FTP directory)
6. ls –la *.tar (lists the tar file in the patient directory)
7. To unload the patient into the clinic…
tar –xvf XiORPC3DCRT.tar (untars the first patient, IROC Houston1)
8. Log out of root and check that you can open each patient inside XiO.
9. Upon clicking on a link below, you will be asked to either "open" or "save" the current file; Choose "save."
10. You will then be asked to choose a location for the file. Choose a location on one of your computer's available hard drives or network hard drives. Please take note of the location for future reference.
11. After it is downloaded to your system, the file can then be burned on to a CD ROM or copied to a removable drive, such as flash memory.
12. You can then transfer the file to your treatment planning machine via CD ROM or the flash memory if available.
Ø 3D-CRT (130 CT images.) The GTV can be found on slices 14.32 cm through 17.32 cm.
