NOTE: This protocol is open to accrual only. No new centers will be credentialed at this time, unless they have previously completed the benchmark.

This trial will utilize TRIAD for dosimetry digital treatment data submission. TRIAD is the American College of Radiology’s (ACR) image exchange application and it is used by NRG. See here for information on installing TRIAD.

For this study, no credentialing is required for 3D CRT.

For this study, all sites are required to be IMRT credentialed. In order to complete the IMRT credentialing process the following items must be completed:

• All participants are asked to complete the Facility Questionnaires.

• Irradiate the IROC Houston's H&N phantom. Please fill in the request form online.

Note:

•  Institutions that are credentialed to participate in other RTOG IMRT protocols requiring an IMRT H&N phantom irradiation need not repeat the phantom irradiation for credentialing for this protocol.

•  Treating physicians and sites credentialed for RTOG 0933 (phase II study of hippocampal avoidance during WBRT for brain metastases) or NRG-CC001 (phase III study of memantine and whole-brain radiation with or without hippocampal avoidance in patients with brain metastases) will not be required to pass Benchmark Testing for NRG-CC003.
