Information Systems Support Group

 

 

The computer support group consists of three system engineers. Their main activities involve: 

·         The administration for three network servers.

·         The continuous development and design of the IROC Houston database.

·         The development of software for specific in-house applications to allow the IROC Houston to function in a much more efficient manner.

·         Support for hardware and software implementation and maintenance for about 40 desktop and laptop computers.

·         The design, maintenance, and administration of the IROC Houston web site.

·         The set-up and configuration of new computer’s hardware and software.

·         Acceptance testing new software, and subsequent training of all IROC Houston personnel.
