Description of IROC Houston’s Measurement and Calculation Procedures

1.    NCRP Report #69, "Dosimetry of X-Ray and Gamma-Ray Beams for Radiation Therapy in the Energy Range 10 keV to 50 MeV" (1981).  The IROC Houston recommends that the TG-21-based dose rate equation for photons in this Appendix be substituted for the SCRAD-based equation 38 of the NCRP Report.  ICRU and NCRP Reports are available from NCRP Publications, 7910 Woodmont Ave., Suite 1610, Bethesda, MD 20815.

2.    AAPM Report #12, "Physical Aspects of Quality Assurance in Radiation Therapy" (1984).  AAPM Reports are available from the AAPM, 335 E. 45th St., New York, NY 10017.
