Study Group Interaction

IROC Houston interacts with the NCI funded clinical trial groups in many ways. These interactions include:

Patient chart review with Radiation Oncologists.

       Dosimetry review of patient records.

Provide measured dosimetry data for retrospective review of patient records.

Attend and interact with radiation oncologists and physicists at group meetings

Assist in the development and review of protocols with emphasis placed on quality assurance.

Develop and assess credentialing processes for new treatment protocols.

The level of support provided to each group for each of the above interactions is dependent upon the requests from the study group.
